PEDAGOGICAL TEAM

GROUP LEADERS - PRODUCTION / Workshop 2010 & 2011

Participants will be divided into 2 groups for the purpose of working on producers' projects. Each group will be led by experienced European producer, who will accompany the participants throughout the whole training course and provide advices on specific questions. For the 2010 and 2011 editions we have collaborated with:

Diana ELBAUM
Diana ELBAUM : Producer (Belgium).

 

Founder of Belgian production company Entre Chien et Loup, Diana Elbaum has since then produced and co-produced more than 30 feature films and documentaries. She teaches at the EAVE and acts as trainer for several other training organisations and schools. Diana's latest credits include Les Barons (Nabil Ben Yadir), Altiplano or Irina Palm (Sam Gabarski). In 2009, she was awarded the European Co-production Prize Eurimages, together with Luxembourgish Producer Jani Thiltges, and is also at the initiative of the EP2C Training Programme.

Bettina BROKEMPER
Bettina BROKEMPER : Producer (Germany).

 

Bettina Brokemper has produced or co-produced more than 20 films including “Bal” - 60th Berlin film festival Golden Bear, “Antichrist” and “Melancholia” (Co-producer), “Gegenüber” (Producer), “Syrian Bride” (Co-producer). Her previous experiences include post-production management. With her Cologne based company Heimatfilm, that she initiated with Helmut Hartl and Stefan Telegdy in 2003, Bettina produces and co-produces international projects, especially European films, and organizes service productions in Germany for international companies. In 2008, Bettina was awarded the European Co-production Prize Eurimages.

Sébastien DELLOYE
Sébastien DELLOYE : Producer (Belgium).

 

Managing director of Entre Chien et Loup and the Ateliers de Baere. Sebastien is also the director of EP2C and acts as an expert for EAVE, Torino Film Lab, Erich Pommer Institut, MEDIA, etc.
Sebastien has produced or co-produced over 20 feature films and 10 documentaries that were selected for the most prestigious festivals (Cannes, Venice, Berlinale, …).

Ewa PUSZCZYNSKA
Ewa PUSZCZYNSKA : Producer (Poland).

 

Ewa is an experienced producer from Opus film, internationally recognized company in Poland. For the last 15 years she has been managing projects development and execution. Currently Ewa is working on Ari Folman’s latest film “Congress” and Quay Brothers’ project “Sanatorium Under the Sign of the Hourglass”. She is also the Head of International Department of the company, supervising co-productions and foreign sales and distribution of the produced movies.

POST-PRODUCTION TRAINERS / Workshop 2010 & 2011

Participants will also be tutored by post-production supervisors. They will be present for several days during the workshop. They will evaluate the participants’ projects from the point of view of the post-production process and give specific advices to the participants on these aspects. Niko REMUS : Post-production supervisor (Germany).

 

Niko has supervised more than 20 feature films including “Bal” – Golden Bear 2010 and “Lemon Tree” by Eran Riklis.

Christina CRASSARIS
Christina CRASSARIS : Post-production supervisor (France).

 

Christina Crassaris has worked as a post-production supervisor for more than 10 years. She first worked for Gaumont and Haut et court before becoming a free lance. Her long list credits include “Persepolis”, “Gainsbourg”, “Entre les murs” (Cannes 2008 - Golden Palm) and “L’avocat de la terreur”. She also gives lectures on post-production at “La Femis” and for the AFC (French association of d irectors o f photography).

Michel SCHOPPING
Michel SCHOPPING : Sound post-production supervisor (Netherlands).

 

Michel Schöpping graduated in musicology. In the 80s he became a sound designer and composer of film music and has designed, edited and mixed more than 50 documentaries, TV films as well as feature films. During the last 20 years he has also worked as sound post-production consultant. In 1993 he founded the Klink Sound Studio in Amsterdam. He teaches at the Dutch Film Academy and is a trainer at the Torino Film Lab

Hans VAN HELDEN : VFX supervisor & Post-production supervisor (Netherlands).

 

Hans van Helden has been working for more than 13 years as freelance post-production and visual effects supervisor, mostly for international feature films. His projects include Paul Verhoeven's "Black Book", Brian Yuzna's stereoscopic project "Amphibious 3D" and Martin Koolhoven's "Winter in Wartime".
Recently Hans set up post-production & vfx company Filmmore Brussels. He is currently Managing Director and VFX Producer of this full service post-house.

Responsible for any digital workflows at ARRI. Focused on workflows for digital cameras. 
Along with some colleagues I developed a complete s3D workflow pipeline from recording to DI. Furthermore I was involved setting up a mobile post-production trailer for s3D as well as 2D feature films.
At ARRI Film & TV we are servicing the latest workflow solutions for any digital motion picture camera.

Philippe REYNAERT : President of CINE-REGIO and General Manager of Wallimage (Belgium).

 

Journalist in the 80’s and adman in the 90's, Philippe Reynaert dedicates itself henceforth full-time to his passion for the 7th Art since, since February 2001, he assumes the direction of Wallimage, the Regional Fund of investment in the audiovisual created by the Walloon Region.
